The Art of Italian Cinematography and Beyond

Launching on 23 April, the CHE SGUARDO VOGLIAMO series, promoted by the Collettivo Chiaroscuro

‘Che sguardo vogliamo’ is an initiative by the Collettivo Chiaroscuro, born from a reflection on the limited visibility many of us experience. It stems from a deep analysis of the difficult working conditions we are currently facing, and from the desire to find a solution. Too often we make films that remain in cinemas for only three days and then do not even reach streaming platforms. These are films we care about, yet we have not been able to share them with audiences, colleagues, directors or producers. The ‘Che sguardo vogliamo’ programme is not only an opportunity to meet, but also to share and showcase our less widely distributed works. TThe series begins on 23 April at The Cineclub, via Lidia 46, Rome.

All screenings start at 8.00 pm (cineclub opens at 7.00 pm for drinks).
