Born in Milan in 1989, he trained at the Scuola Civica di Cinema e Televisione. He works between Milan and Rome across fiction film, commercials, advertising and music videos. His approach shifts from project to project — drawing on different media and formats — whilst maintaining a consistently strong visual sensibility.
In 2021 he served as director of photography on Closing Time, directed by Tommaso Santambrogio — a short film selected for the Venice International Film Critics’ Week 2021, nominated at the David di Donatello Awards 2022, and screened at numerous national and international festivals, where it collected several prizes.
In 2022 he shot A Stranger Quest across the United States and Canada — a documentary directed by Andrea Gatopoulos that premiered at the Torino Film Festival in 2023.
In 2024 he received the Best Cinematography award from Giuseppe Lanci at the Desenzano Film Festival for the short film Come nei rami la pioggia.
His most recent work, Oh Boys, directed by Antonio Donato, has been selected for the Quinzaine des Cinéastes at Cannes 2026.
