As part of Sony’s VENICE in Venice event, Francesco Di Giacomo CCS leads a masterclass on Moretti’s Succederà questa notte

On Thursday 3 September, on the island of San Servolo, cinematographer Francesco Di Giacomo CCS will lead a masterclass as part of VENICE in Venice, an exclusive event organised by Sony in collaboration with the National Film School of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and Cinealta, on the occasion of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

From 6.00 pm, Di Giacomo will share his perspective on his work on Nanni Moretti’s Succederà questa notte, presented at the Festival and shot on the VENICE 2. The session will focus on the visual and technical choices through which the cinematographer shaped the film’s imagery.
The masterclass will be filmed by the Casa Chiaroscuro team, the CCS social media project covering the Venice Film Festival with the support of Sony.

The day’s programme will also include the Immersive Art masterclass, from 3.00 to 4.30 pm. The evening will conclude with a cocktail, offering participants an informal opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.

During the festival, there will also be a demo area dedicated to the RIALTO MINI and the new FX5.
