The Art of Italian Cinematography and Beyond

Claudia Sicuranza

She was born in Fiesole in 1993. From a young age, she was immersed in the artistic environment, traveling to street artist festivals with her stilt-walker father. Meanwhile, she began to experiment with her own language through photography, which she refined through her studies at LABA (Libera Accademia di Belle Arti, Photography program). She worked at the Gucci Photo Studio in Florence before deciding to dedicate herself to cinema and pursue film studies at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome (2018-2020), under the guidance of Giuseppe Lanci. She completed her education by participating in Becoming Maestre, a mentoring program created by the Accademia del Cinema Italiano – David di Donatello Awards and Netflix, with mentors Daria D’Antonio and Luca Bigazzi.

Since 2020, she has been the co-founder and creative director of Eki Magazine, a publication aimed at exploring the theme of light in all its forms and artistic applications.
