Collettivo Chiaroscuro meets the authors of In Progress MFN – Milano Film Network 2025

The cinematographers of Collettivo Chiaroscuro – Andrea Benjamin Manenti, Stefano Paradiso, Eleonora Contessi, Emilio Maria Costa and Michele Brandstetter – met with the fifteen authors selected for the In Progress MFN production workshop on 5 and 7 July in Milan. Now in its tenth edition, the workshop is promoted by Milano Film Network and aimed at young Italian filmmakers or directors residing in Italy. Its goal is to support the development of cinematic ideas and the creation of films that are innovative in language, technique, content and production approach.

Each cinematographer worked alongside three of the selected projects. The meetings offered an opportunity for dialogue on the works in progress, with a particular focus on the film’s visual concept. Following the writing of an initial treatment and the preparation of an artistic dossier, the final versions of the projects will be presented during the eleventh edition of the Milano Industry Days at the Lido in Venice, as part of the Venice Production Bridge (28 August – 3 September 2025). An international jury will award development grants and in-kind prizes to the winning projects.
