PRESS RELEASE
#siamoaititolidicoda calls for the release of the Global Sumud Flotilla.
Italy must suspend all relations with Israel.

Rome, 5 October 2025 – As film and audiovisual workers gathered under the movement #siamoaititolidicoda, we express our strongest condemnation of the unlawful capture and detention of the Global Sumud Flotilla activists by the Israeli government.

Rome, 5 October 2025 – As film and audiovisual workers gathered under the movement #siamoaititolidicoda, we express our strongest condemnation of the unlawful capture and detention of the Global Sumud Flotilla activists by the Israeli government.

We call for the immediate and unconditional release of all activists unlawfully imprisoned.

This abuse takes place in the context of the inhuman genocide that the Israeli government is perpetrating against the Palestinian people. The cultural world cannot remain silent.

For this reason, we call on the Italian government and all institutions to act with coherence and courage, immediately ending all cultural, commercial and political relations with the State of Israel until the occupation, apartheid and violence come to an end.

We appeal to all associations, committees and representative movements in our sector, as well as to the entire world of culture, art and information, to join our call, support this demand and take a clear stand.

Our silence is complicity. Our art stands on the side of justice.
