Inspired by the novel by Mariapia Veladiano, winner of the Calvino Prize, the film tells the story of a family in which unspeakable secrets and feelings of guilt intertwine with great talent. The angioma on little Rebecca’s face makes it difficult for her to relate to others, especially her mother. Marco Tullio Giordana reflects on the body as an identity and on the violations that identity can suffer.
