Another major accolade for Daria D’Antonio CCS, who has been awarded the Globo d’Oro 2026 for Best Cinematography for her work on Primavera, the film by Damiano Michieletto inspired by Tiziano Scarpa’s novel Stabat Mater. The award was presented at the 66th edition of the Globi d’Oro, the historic accolade promoted by the Foreign Press Association in Italy.

The accolade comes at the end of a particularly significant season for the cinematographer, who only days ago also took home the Nastro d’Argento for Best Cinematography, awarded for Paolo Sorrentino’s La grazia.
We’re also delighted to mention the Globo d’Oro for Best Comedy awarded to Francesco Lagi’s Il Dio dell’amore, whose cinematography was handled by another CCS associate, Edoardo Carlo Bolli, as well as the Globo d’Oro for Best Series of the Year awarded to Portobello, shot by Francesco Di Giacomo CCS.
Collettivo Chiaroscuro congratulates Daria D’Antonio CCS on this prestigious achievement, which once again recognises the value of visual research and the fundamental contribution of cinematography to contemporary cinema.
