She made her debut as director of photography in 2007 with The Crossing of the Line by Pietro Marcello. She has signed the lighting for, among others, the films Are You Afraid of the Dark by Massimo Coppola, Slam: All for a Girl by Andrea Molaioli, The Landlords by Edoardo Gabbriellini, The Father of Italy by Fabio Mollo, The Bear’s Skin by Marco Segato, N-capace by Eleonora Danco, Remember? by Valerio Mieli, Return by Cristina Comencini, Flesh Out by Michela Occhipinti, The Miracle by Niccolò Ammanniti, Bang Bang Baby by Alaique, Ferri, Bonito, Super-Sex by Rovere, Mazzoleni and Carrozzini, The Hand of God and Parthenope by Paolo Sorrentino.

She has been nominated four times for the Nastro d’Argento, winning it in 2022 with The Hand of God; three times for the David di Donatello Awards, winning once in 2022, again for The Hand of God; and has been nominated once and won twice at the Globo d’Oro for The Bear’s Skin and Remember?
