The Art of Italian Cinematography and Beyond

Fabrizio Bracci

Fabrizio Bracci has an academic background focused on cinema. For five years, he was a student of Vittorio Storaro, ASC, AIC, and subsequently, for six years, he worked as an assistant to Marco Incagnoli, a former instructor at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and L’Aquila. He made his debut as a director of photography at the age of 24, working on two feature films for cinema and one for television, all shot digitally during the experimental phase of the new medium.

In 2007, he accepted a job offer from RAI for a television project, which led him to collaborate on various other productions across Italy, Spain, Central America, and Saudi Arabia. A hybrid figure capable of conceiving light both as spectacle and as a narrative tool, his experience spans from cinema to live shows. To date, he has accumulated over 14,000 hours on set across cinematic, television, and live show productions. His most recent collaboration is with Amazon Prime.
