Cinematographer Luca Santagostino shared:
“With director Domenico De Feudis, we started by exploring the thriller genre and referencing the new western style, which perfectly aligned with the landscapes of Sardinia’s interior. The aim was to depict a gritty, sombre Sardinia, far from comforting, and consistent with the story we were telling. I wanted to capture Costa Smeralda as a cold, desolate, and bleak place”.
