Lucia Rinaldi

Lucia Rinaldi is a cinematographer working across both the United States and the European Union. She grew up in Modena, Italy, where she studied photography and film restoration in Bologna. Her path gradually led her towards cinema, where she found her place within the camera department, also working as a camera assistant and camera operator. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue an MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute, graduating with the class of 2019. She was selected by BAFTA for its renowned Newcomers programme, and is a member of the Society of Camera Operators and the International Collective of Female Cinematographers. Lucia Rinaldi’s work is a combination of technical skill, sensitivity and identity.
