Mirko Ciabatti (1995) is a cinematographer working between Milan and Rome.
He graduated in Cinematography from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografi a in Rome in 2019. After working as a DIT, he began working as a director of photography across narrative fi lm, advertising, music videos, and fashion. His work includes short fi lms such as Tomorrow at Dawn, Accordi, and Forme; music videos for artists including Manitoba and Kommando; and collaborations with brands such as Loro Piana, MaxMara, Armani, Careisgold. He works in both digital and fi lm formats, with a particular interest in experimentation and in how light can shape perception and create visual atmospheres. Alongside his work on set, he teaches at institutions including NABA and IED. In 2025, he co-founded Frontiera Film, a production collective focused on developing independent projects and supporting emerging fi lmmakers.
