Stefano Paradiso CCS and Alessandro Chiodo CCS were guests at the ANPI Londa Film Festival to discuss the challenges facing the film industry.

On 1 June 2025, as part of the ANPI Londa Film Festival, Stefano Paradiso and Alessandro Chiodo, board members of the Collettivo Chiaroscuro (CCS), took part in a panel titled The Cinematic Landscape between Union Struggles and Workers’ Rights. During the event, the two CCS cinematographers offered an in-depth analysis of working conditions in the sector, highlighting the need to strengthen wage and contractual protections, support trade union organisations, and promote a culture of worker representation. The main goal was to raise awareness of the crucial role of collective struggles in securing fundamental rights for film professionals.

Paradiso and Chiodo’s participation in the festival reflects the Collettivo Chiaroscuro’s active engagement in public debate, reaffirming the importance of fair contractual terms and a shared awareness of labour inequalities in the world of entertainment.

A video recording of the Live ANPI Londa Film Festival session is available on the Nostalghia Podcast channel, published on 5 June.
