The Award for Best Cinematography goes to Sante di Valeria Gaudieri ( dop Giorgio Chiucchiù) “For its delicate and sensitive approach to the subject matter, supported by camerawork that remains consistently aligned with the film’s narrative intentions and overall artistic vision. The film stands out for its ability to support the storytelling with restraint and precision, maintaining a formal balance that enhances both its themes and the performances. The jury also praised the director’s ability to work with very young actors, handling the challenges of directing children with remarkable naturalness and authenticity, and eliciting performances that are both convincing and spontaneous.”

A Special Mention was also awarded to Festa in famiglia, directed by Nadir Taji, with cinematography by Lorenzo Lamberti, “for its cinematography, which never calls attention to itself but instead reveals its strength by remaining in the background of the story, supporting it through a subtle and carefully understated visual approach that is perfectly in keeping with the film’s documentary style of storytelling.”

A second Special Mention for Cinematography was awarded to Kushta Mayn, la mia Costantinopoli, directed by Nicolò Folin, with cinematography by Simone Sadocco, “for its consistent and finely judged photographic work, in which the use of light—always motivated by the scene and its dramatic requirements—blends seamlessly with both natural and artificial light, resulting in images of remarkable expressive power.”
