Checco Zalone is back in the spotlight with the release of a new music video, and he hits where it hurts most. The subject is the prostate, but this is obviously not a reassuring message about prevention. The aim is to make people laugh, even at the cost of causing discomfort, playing without filters on fears, machismo and borderline jokes, portraying the average Italian man terrified by failure in bed and by the idea of a urological examination. As always, Zalone pushes hard on stereotypes, dismantling male pride.
On social media, the video has already racked up hundreds of thousands of views and comments in just two days.

La fotografia è di Federico Annicchiarico, che ci ha raccontato:
“The idea was to create a video with no set design, or one that was extremely pared down. We set it in a soundstage in front of a cyclorama that changes colour thanks to backlighting and, depending on the different sung and danced situations, offers a different chromatic atmosphere. Everything came about spontaneously and, despite the presence of a storyboard that we broadly adhered to, both the director and Checco Zalone allowed plenty of room for improvisation.”
