PRENDIAMOCI UNA PAUSA, directed by Christian Marazziti, is coming to theaters.
Cinematography by Fabrizio Lucci, CCS.

On 15 January, Prendiamoci una pausa, directed by Christian Marazziti, arrives in cinemas. The film tells the story of three couples from different generations, all grappling with the dilemma of whether to pause and understand what they truly want from the Other. The film relies on a strong, well-matched ensemble cast. Alongside Marco Giallini, a familiar face in Italian comedy here playing Valter, is Claudia Gerini as Fiorella, the wife who pushes for a break after thirty years of marriage. Fabio Volo and Ilenia Pastorelli bring to the screen the story of Fabrizio and Valeria, fortysomethings who experience the break respectively as an emotional collapse for him and as an opportunity for change for her. The dynamics of the younger generation also come to the fore with Aurora Giovinazzo as Erica and her interaction with characters such as Gabriel. The cast further includes Paolo Calabresi, Ricky Memphis, and Lucia Ocone, with additional contributions from Eleonora Puglia and Alessandro Haber.

Behind the scenes, in addition to the direction by Christian Marazziti—who also co-wrote the screenplay with Mauro Graiani and Gianni Corsi—we find a technical team that makes a significant contribution to the project’s success. Cinematography is by master cinematographer Fabrizio Lucci, CCS; editing by Luca Montanari; production design by Viviana Panfili; costumes by Angela Capuano; and original score by Alessandro Bencini.

The film is produced by Camaleo Film in collaboration with Eagle Pictures and Agresywna Banda, with the support of the Ministry of Culture. Distribution in Italy is handled by Eagle Pictures.
